This new state-of-the-art John SISK & Son development involves the construction of a new 150-bed private Bon Secours Hospital in Towlerton, Limerick, consisting of 5 floors, and located just 600m from Junction 29 on the M7 motorway. The hospital which is set to open in 2025 will be built to the highest technical, accessibility and sustainability standards which will see employment levels double.
Key features of the new facility will include:
- 75 Inpatient beds (all single en-suite rooms)
- four bed Special Observation Unit (single en-suite rooms)
- 20 Endoscopy Recovery Bays and three procedure rooms
- 20-bay Day Surgical Unit
- radiology Department
- four operating theatres
- 10-bay Medical Assessment Unit
- dedicated Ophthalmology Unit
- pre-assessment Unit
- minor op rooms
Finishes to be completed by the Seán Doyle Painting Contractors team but will involve painting walls throughout with Dulux Sterishield Diamond matt in multiple colours, Wallpaper will be applied to feature walls, throughout the corridors, and amenity areas.
